I got mine in Jun 5 for the ceremony on Jun 28. Each office has a different way of working - but wait upto 6 calendar days before your oath date or else you can call IRCC. Good luck!

Do we get a notification when the E-Certificate is ready? Do we retrieve it in the tracker?

There is no notification sent out. You receive one email with the invite code to register on the portal. If you get this email quote some time after your oath form is sent then there is a good chance it is available. You have to keep logging in, enter your application number and DOB and keep checking. I got mine late evening yesterday around 7 pm and the certificate was available for download.

Oath got done today! So happy! Now waiting for the paper certificate to be delivered. I emailed them asking for e-certificate but sadly, never received a response from Mississauga office.

I'm tired of reading "Updated: March 2, 2023" And even that was just a fake update...
I really hope that they will improve the system and make the queue progress in order. First in, first out.
Of course, if they need to wait for something out of their hands, they could update the status and move to the next person... but continue the process as soon as that "something" is ready...
Now that applications are online, they should be able to do this. Any officer, from any location, can go to the system and pick the next person in queue... no more applications stuck in slow queues.

I did mine yesterday at 9am Vancouver time and downloaded mine at 2 pm so you should try to download it now

They are busy profiling applicants based on name or country of birth rather than treating all applications fairly. It took me 8 months to clear my background check, security part in particular. Now I’m going through the same scrutiny with prohibitions. Feels like we are being treated like criminals not future Canadian citizens!!!!

That is somehow true, prohibitions is not that big deal, its just a check mark that everything is OK and nothing prevent you from being a citizen, but 100% agree on filtering people according to their names/birth place and if they spent long time in a certain country, all depends on officer dealing with your file!!

With IRCC, anything is possible. I have noticed that they don't follow any manual or process, and each officer does their own thing.
