Has anyone else seen the discrepancy between the old and the new tracker?
ECAS shows "application received" while the new dashboard shows "in progress". Does that mean my application is actually "in process" and the old ECAS is not updated yet?

The new Dashboard will default to "in progress" for all fields except test and oath, where you could see them as not started. "In Process" in ECAS is when your file is transferred to a local office.

I also need to add that my application is showing as "In Progress" today. I tried to update the tracker myself but unable to do so. Thanks for your help!

Is it showing in Process in the old ECAS? https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do

That is what we need to enter in the spreadsheet.

No It is not. I checked the old ECAS ( didn't know about that till now) and it shows as Application Received in the old ECAS. Thanks!

Hi there,
We applied for our PR card renewal and when I sent a web request 3 months later they asked me for more details which I sent. I then got another response saying that they can confirm that my application was received but cannot provide any information regarding my children since I am not their representative and they cannot verify my relationship with them???? I am confused, how are they not able to verify that I am the mother of my children. Also, I don't remember seeing it anywhere in the guide that I need to send a use of rep form for my kids when we are applying for a renewal. They are minors so cannot inquire on their own own.
Did anyone encounter the same issue?

Hi there,

Maybe call the center directly and ask them about the applications for the minor. That’s really annoying that they won’t provide you the information even though you are the mother and probably listed 1000 on their application.
I think you can submit the form to be their representative at this time if it is really required.

I called to IRCC about resend my application (it received on 9 April 2021 and returned back 31 May 2021) on 11 June 2021.
The person who is in the phone told, my application going to considered for June application instead of April.
But in CIC page it says I should submit within 90 days to considered. Now confused completely, are they going to consider it April or June?
Can someone clarify it. Thanks

The clock resets when the application is returned, therefore you are now a 2021 June applicant, and time starts counting on the day it was received at IRCC offices. I am in the same situation, my first package arrived at IRCC Sydney on December 3, 2020, but returned on Feb 23, 2021, due to photos (they were lost during the process), I resent the package and was received at IRCC on March 02, 2021, therefore I am now part of the 2021 March applicants. I know it is frustrating, because our journey actually started when we sent the original package the first time, but that was just time lost because our applications were returned.
