I asked about this with a lawyer. They posted that but you can travel as long as u want. You have to be here for the applicants visa

You are absolutely right. You can travel for short period of time. I had the same question so I directly called CIC. Officer told me you can definitely visit to another country. Even I called them 3 times and got same answer. She also told me the rule applies to the applicant and sponsor living inside canada.

I called IRCC 3 times on 2 different days. 3 different agents confirmed my application was complete on October 16 and my file will not be returned. I am an April 17 applocant but I have not received AOR yet. How is that poasible?

March 24 here - have been told it’s complete 2 times and haven’t received AOR
