Thank you!!! Did you enter Purpose of Travel as COVID-19??Awww congratulations!!! My husband applied for his since early December and we have literally heard nothing about it. Did get the AOR last week though. I am happy for you... that is soooo exciting!!!
I did! when did you all apply and what country is your wife in if you don't mind me asking?Thank you!!! Did you enter Purpose of Travel as COVID-19??
Oct 30, Nigeria.I did! when did you all apply and what country is your wife in if you don't mind me asking?
Yup, the same thing happened to me. So sorry to hear this. I sent mine back in November, and still haven't heard anything. I'm wishing for the best for us both!I get your point but they received our application on 2nd April 2020 and after 9 months they checked it and returned it. How is that fair? They could have contacted us instead of returning whole application package. Had it be 2/3 months would have understood, it's 9 months. We will have to start application all over again and my husband is in Canada and I am in Dubai, even to sign the forms again it's not easy.
Did you try getting your MP involved? I would!I'm an April 6th applicant and have still not received AOR or any response whatsoever... I submitted the webform and I was just told that my application is not in the system yet. I'm starting to be afraid my application got lost somehow... Is this possible? I did track the package I sent via CanadaPost and it showed it was delivered, so there shouldn't be any issues, but it's been so long without AOR...
I did not, did you? Have you heard of someone doing something like this before?Did you try getting your MP involved? I would!
Hey, was your application returned as well?Yup, the same thing happened to me. So sorry to hear this. I sent mine back in November, and still haven't heard anything. I'm wishing for the best for us both!
CongratulationsGood news if anyone cares. My spouse's TRV has just been approved today. I'll advise you all give it a try instead of waiting for the long Sponsorship. Our application took 2 months and 2 weeks. So many people discouraged us as they said it will definitely be denied since we have a pending spousal sponsorship. Against all odds, we went ahead anyways as we had nothing to lose. We don't even have AOR1 yet, but she will be joining me next month. I could never have imagined. It still feels like a dream.
