Received the test invitation e-mail today.

As I am in the USA for my grad school, I sent an email to IRCC regarding appearing for the exam from the USA. I am yet to hear back from them. Do any of you have any experience regarding appearing for the exam from outside of Canada? Thanks!

The tracker gets updated first then you will receive an email. So, keep an eye on the tracker!

If you are talking about taking the test, AFAIK, you can take the test from outside of Canada. All you need is to send IRCC an email asking for permission. I think apart from the e-mail and tracker, there is no other way to find if you have been scheduled for the test or not. I have heard about a case where the test invitation mistakenly went to another person's email address and the applicant eventually found it by calling the IRCC. I believe those cases are very rare.
