I had raised a web-form asking about the status and received below response:

The eligibility verification has been met.

· The security verification has not been initiated.

· The criminality verification is currently in progress..

can someone please help me understand here, does this means eligibility is passed and yet to be verified from senior officer? AOR- April 6th

I submitted the web form on 29 july to confirm that rcmp doc is received by them and status of my application.

I received response today.

Any news on Biometrics Exemption for Permanent Residence! Spoke to Service Canada & IRCC Executive on Thursday, 30th Jul'20 ... Service Canada executive took my email address and responded on email for various online extension processes but nothing on Biometrics services except IRCC link with Biometrics updates; IRCC Executive shared eligibility clearance status over phone (but not reflected on portal). Security and Criminal background verification inprocess.

Please do share if any updates on Biometrics. Thank you.

Says 16 weeks to go, on the progress bar (which probably is just a computer generated thing).

Cant give biometrics in India, I suppose. So, sitting tight. Any updates on Biometric facility in India would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Yes its opening, try different browser or pc. Or maybe the IP address from your country has some technical issues as you said.

According to the ImmiTracker - noone. As for my application (21st of April) the only update I have is Medicine Passed (30th of June). Even Eligibility hasn't been verified yet.
