Hi guys,
My parents applied for visitors Visa on 11 Apr 19. They got biometric qppoappoint on 10th may. I applied through agent. In my invitation letter I put that my parents will visit me from 9 may. I advised agent to update my invitation letter but he told me it will be fine. Just wondering without bio metrics , officer can approve the visa or ? Should I update my invitation letter ? Thanks

That's what happened in my mother case, the sequence in which everything happened for her, file submitted >> bio request >> bio done >> bio updated online >> background and eligibility started >> received an acknowledgment letter >> received bio validity letter >> online account got approved and got Passport request.
This is what I have seen on forum too.

Thank you for replying. I guess I will wait untill their biometrics will be done. This bio metrics is too costly like 85$ per person seriously ? Government is trying to make momon from this.
For Gujarat, they got a bio metrics appointment after 1 month lol. For your case you got appointment early that's great. ComgCongratulat

If an applicant pays the biometric fees in advance, they get the bio request in 24 hours. Else it takes time to come.

No movement in my mom's application yet. And her air ticket which was marked hold, will expire tomorrow. Guys, any idea if her air ticket reservation expires tomorrow, will it lead to visa rejection? Should we be taking any step?

After getting correspondence letter, taking too much time and still in review of eligibility (2 weeks now). Is it any positive sign?
