Hey guys I got a request for new police certificate. I have it done and uploaded in GCKey and sent it to the approved email. My question is do I still have to send the original to CIC?

we submitted our file on April and sadly it got returned because of the birth certificate was supposed to be translated with an affidavit file from the translator and they didn't return it unless we called them asking about it and they said they returned before 2 weeks and we got nothing then they check again and it was still there then they sent it and it took along time so if we didn't call we wouldn't know where our file is ...
anyways now before two days we submitted again but i feel it might return because the police certificate of one country that i stayed for 6 month was expired and we submitted a letter of explanation that i can't travel again and it was issued and after 3 days i traveled from that country...now what i feel that we might did wrong on the checklist the area of police certificate the part which is the one with me living fro a country for 6 months we left it clear without checked and the letter of explanation of the expired one its title is missing document so we thought it is a missing document cause its expired and we didn't provide a new original one so we didn't checked that one....will they return our application because of this check

Shall i wait for few weeks or call them now? I heard you should wait for atleast 5 weeks and then inquire. What do you suggest? Have you applied too?
The COPR (the PR visa) will have an expiry date on it, which will be one year from the date you did your medical exam. You'll be able to land whenever you like, as long as it's before that expiry date. Hope that helps!
