Yes, you are safe once you receive Decision made or COPR.
 
So is copr when u can fly to Canada?

Also how long do they give u before that expire? Like do u have to come to cAnsfa by
a certain time frame

Don't quote me on this but they surely submit the results quickly. You can ask them when you go for the actual tests. For sure wont take 10 days to upload your results online. Worst case they provide you with a form which mentions when you completed the medical.

We did our medical examination on the 07th of June and still they did not submit the results to CIC, they already confirmed to the PA that her examination results were normal. I complained why they are not sending the results, they replied and asked me "What is the urgency? We have 10 business days to submit results to IRCC" So, the way I see it, they should send it today or tomorrow, if they don't then I will call and start screaming.

Hi guys , do you get confirmation or an email when they start background check? How do you know they started background check. My status said they started this even before getting AOR.

Please elaborate or share your experience

YOu'll get a ghost email and your status will update in GC KEY

congratulations!!! how does the CIC update sponsor / applicant when the file is transferred to CPC Mississauga?
 
My husband got medical request. Its due by july 19. But latest appointment he can get is july16 in ireland as there’s only 2 medical centers who can perform medical for canada visa. So should I be informing cic that it may take longer than 30 days? And how? Any help will be appreciated. TIA

As long as it's done within the 30 day window it's fine.

It's good to be proactive. You may send in an explanation via webform along with the appointed that you've received stating that there is a possibility that IRCC will receive it after 30 days as you will not be submitting that by yourself.

If your husband will be done with medicals on July 16, then he just has to submit medicals completion form before July 19 and you do not need to inform CIC about it. If its past date, send a query along with proof of medicals registration and it should resolve the issue.
 
Is there anyone else who still has not received AOR?
April 29th application was delivered.

Is there a number I can call, I am worried it is lost??
