Wanted to share with others our Biometrics experience. Although, online it only allows you to make appointments 2 weeks from the date you are making it. You can just go to the office, without an appointment and get it done.. even the staff working there said that. Takes only 15 minutes and they don't ask for your appointment time and it was busy in the office too
.

Can you share your time line

I am a pregnant PR, sponsoring my Husband who is in the Philippines. Application received on April 29, 2019. No AOR yet.
How far along are you? I’m 21 weeks. I’m the PA (from the USA) and my husband is a PR in Canada (but was born and raised in the Philippines )

Just got a confirmation email that my sponsorship application was received.. is this the AOR?

Yes, it's AOR....

I've told you:) you would get it at the end of the week;)

If your application has no issues, I would think you will get it by the end of the week.... be reminded it could also take up to 3 months.

My only concern is that i couldn’t manage to get a notice of assessment due to reason being a full time student before I started my current job. Though I did include an explanation and my paystubs.. do you think that’s enough?

I can see my application "In Process" in ECAS now. Hopefully AOR will follow soon.

Can somebody tell, if the application could be sent back even after AOR?
