What type of PR visa did you apply for? Spouse? Common-Law? Do you live together? I would think that if a cpl have been living together for 4 years CIC would not need proof of previous chats? Me and my partner did not really chat a lot using any APP's or even facebook, if we did it's all lost now or we did not keep most conversations because we have just decided that we would like to go in Canada and start our life there in recent months.

You and I are in the same boat. Common law partner, lived together 3 years now. Although currently visiting Canada.

Those people probably paid the biometrics fee up front. We entirely forgot to pay the biometrics fee when we submitted, so they requested the payment from us on 30th April. Took a week to get confirmation that they'd received it, and we still haven't got the actual biometrics request yet. I've seen other people on the forum take anywhere from a week to 4 weeks from paying to get the actual request. So, as long as you sent them your receipt via the webform, you haven't done anything wrong and just have to wait for them to get to you. Fingers crossed we hear something soon!
Thanks for letting me know. They actually replied back to me 10 days after and said i filled some info incorrectly, which i did. one digit wrong on the birthday.. ugh!!! So i've resent it and hopefully we'll hear back soon that they've received our payment at least. So people quadruple check your documents!!

Pls does anyone knows the possible reasons for returning application? I just received canada post tag for parcel collection. I submitted 3rd of May and was received on the 6th so I’m kinda having a feeling it could be the application

When was your application received? You are outland, correct? There could be a wide variety of reasons why applications could be returned.... missing signatures, wrong dates, incomplete info, forgot to put checkmark ticks, forms not validated properly, NA where it's not applicable... etc..... I think other people could add to this list but at the end of day it all depends of the officer handling your case;)

Did you photocopy everything before you've sent your application out? I have photocopied everything myself page to page and document to document, all photocopied and sitting in my desk, this is the reason I have noticed some mistakes I have done after the fact. I would go through my application everyday and I found some mistakes that I did not notice when everything was sent. Do you have any idea what you might of did wrong?

Thanks for replying. I have no idea what it could be. I tripple check the application before I sent it out. I’m Outland, PA in Nigeria. I’m just been worried right now. My prayers is that I could correct or provide whatever they might have requested. Do they write a separate letter to indicate what they found wrong? Or they leave it for u to figure if out

Usually they will tell you what you did wrong, they don't just leave you in limbo;)

I highly doubt its the application. They send it via snail mail. Youd have it in your mailbox not a post office
