Hi there! We also made this mistake of not hand-signing on Schedule A next to the electronic signature. Did you make the same mistake and send in the corrected forms through the IRCC web form? And did you send it before you receive AOR as well, and used the payment receipt number instead? We're very worried that they won't accept our forms or won't be able to link it to our application since we haven't been issued a AOR.

This is a very common mistake, and will likely be returned to you.

1st application submit 23rd october 2018
Returned application due to missing hand signature.

( lot of people suffered because of what form says, it must clearly say print and hand written signature required)

2nd application submission 18 th janurary
Returned application april 2019

3rd application submission 18th of april 2019

2nd submission rejection reason: no payment. CIC not accepting bank payment which i made 12 years back. After paying the fee i never applied and finally last year i applied.

Its a huge mistake from their side and they are not accepting the mistake.

What shall i do? They have to back dated the application received date. 3rd time i went ahead and paid online and requested to process the application as of january2018. No reply yet. How could they do this to us? What should we do? Where to complaint?

Wait... 12 years ago, or 12 months? Because I could understand why they might not want to accept a payment made 12 years ago. Were the fees the same price as they are now? Unfortunately I think the main avenue for complaining is to submit via the web form. It's hard to get a hold of a person on their phone line.

Yes 12 years ago and it was same amount 1040 dollars. I sent the original bank payment slip and i retain one copy. Back in days bank used to give 2 slips , one for the cic one for the client. Called CIC and the rep said it shouldnt be any problem but my file received date is still april 18th..

Oh, that is frustrating if someone told you that they'd accept it. What I've learnt from this forum, though, is that the people on the phones don't always seem to know what they're talking about. Sometimes the same person calls up multiple times and gets different answers from different reps. I think it's still worth complaining and letting them know that you were told by someone on their phone line that it would be okay and see what happens, but I'm not sure it'll end up doing anything. Sorry to hear about your experience

I just checked application package. Looks like the Document checklist has been updated recently (April 2019). Any idea what has changed? And the date when it was updated?

Once you get your AOR you'll be able to see your progress online, currently taking around 30-35 days for that

Could you clarify if you used the old forms or the updated forms in February?
