Sorry! to here that your spousal PR applications were refused.I went too and got refused but you can re-apply anytime unless they mentioned something on your refusal letter.
Just try to send a letter with proof of your emergency visit before you go.. they may accept it

WOW, Honey we've landed, I need to use the washroom darling, ok honey I'll wait for you at the lounge. 10 minutes passes, 20, 40.. Darling is getting worried, his honey is nowhere to be seen, hubby realizes that she only used him to get a visa to Canada. Well, crazy story, I hope your husband reported his ex wife and she got deported back to the 3rd world Country she came from.
Did you get it? I guess not.Wow, StephanH .... I dont think your last statement was called for. But yes I hope she was reported and deported.
@OUVERG1980, dont be scared everyone's case is different, just be honest and provide lots of proof if you have it. As long as you can provide the proof of divorce and show your relationship is genuine.
Call IRCC and ask them about the status of your application referring sponsor’s name date of birth and Receipt number (Fees you paid). They’ll let you know if its being returned or if its waiting to be opened by the officer. You can also ask if they can provide you with a temporary application number but its at their discretion to give it if they can.Hi everyone! We are sitting at 49 days since application received but no signs of an AOR1 yet. It seems as though everyone before and after us are all getting their AOR's so I'm stressing a bit...I tried linking with GCKey using Family Name and DOB but no luck. Does anyone have any advice on how to get a status update on our application?
Permanent Residents are required to stay in the country throughout the processing of the application. Although not recommended especially at the beginning of the process, small 2 week vacations are fine but if the officer question’s PR’s intention to return, they can refuse the application.Sorry! to here that your spousal PR applications were refused.
Can't you go on vacation or out of the country when your spousal PR application in Process???
Beginning of the process means the day from AOR 1 or from date that you send the application.Permanent Residents are required to stay in the country throughout the processing of the application. Canadian Citizens can leave the country without issues. However, If they decide to live abroad for a longer time, they’ll be asked to provide proof of intention to return to Canada.
Thank you! That is super helpful!Call IRCC and ask them about the status of your application referring sponsor’s name date of birth and Receipt number (Fees you paid). Until Sponsor Approval. But like I said. Advisable not to take a long trip out of the country at any given time.Beginning of the process means the day from AOR 1 or from date that you send the application.
Process starts from the day your application is received.Beginning of the process means the day from AOR 1 or from date that you send the application.
