Any applicant from Ottawa still waiting for their decision to be made? I wrote my test on Dec 04, and submitted more documents on Dec 16 (as per the officer’s request), and yet have no news on the decision :( the wait is killing me

I hope you hear from them soon, which docs you had to provide after the interview? Why?

Hello people,

any one know whether we will be getting oath invite to our email or as a post? I see on ECAS that they sent out the oath invite on January 10 but so far I havent received anything on my email. All the previous AOR, test invite I got on email so I am not sure why I didnt receive the oath notice on email even though ecas shows it was sent out January 10th. any one ran into this before? any insights is much appreciated.

We sent you a notice on January 10, 2020 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on February 6, 2020 at 9:00 AM. The notice you will receive will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

Also, if anyone has the same situation, I was trying to ask them through the webform a few days ago that I would want to change my last name to my married name to appear on my Canadian citizenship certificate. I also submitted a copy of my marriage certificate with my application. Immigration office here in Vancouver replied today that I would need to submit a copy of any provincial ID with my updated married name on it in order for them to update my Citizenship certificate with my married name. Unfortunately, I still haven't updated my ID's yet!! What a bummer... :( if only I asked them during my interview after the exam, I could have requested last month immediately to update my ID's. :(

I have cleared the citizenship test on October 21 and I have not received any response or update since then. I still have the "In Process" status. According to the IRCC website, the time between the test and the oath ceremony is an average of three months which I am getting close. Anyone from Calgary is having the same issue? I see that some of the Calgary candidates in the spreadsheet are still waiting for the Oath. Does anyone know why there is a difference among applications? Is it because they asked me to do fingerprints which I already did before the test (in September)? Do fingerprints delay the process, even though, I have done it on September 07th? Any ideas guys? Thank you.
