Hello ,
I applied for sposal sponsosrship in April 2018 , and got SA approval and Medical request for my wife and son.
Today they asked me to submit the below:
We require the following item(s) to continue processing your application:
> Birth registration/certificate: Birth registration/certificate. If a birth is registered late, include the original baptism certificate and other original documents establishing identity such as: Old school records (Fifth class and Middle standard school certificate).
My wife do have 10th class/grade certificate and we don't get Fifth or Middle standard certificate.
Also they are asking for original ..Does it mean that we have to send original copies by mail.
Please advise.

This is part of the country specific requirements you would have had to submit with the original application. You should gather what you have and send them on by mail, quoting your application number and UCI in a cover letter as well as an explanation as to why you are sending what you are and not the 5th and middle certificates.
They are asking for the original so yes, you must mail them.
When was your app rec’d and how long did it take to get SA from when you saw DM in ECAS?
When you log into the gckey have you clicked on the “check full application status” the message for the medical will be in there along with the forms also the uci on your aor1 is yours each person on the application has one. Hope this helps
Hi,
I got the same request in GC account. They created a folder to upload so I uploaded scan copies of birth certificate, tenth certificate and Voter Id. we can not send these original documents to them as we need them in future. So I believe, just upload the scan copies of them.
please clarify if anyone did same like me.

Hi all. Received SA today, and husband received med request last week.
Yesterday received an email asking for documents. Finally was able to link application to gckey today! But, I don't see anywhere where we can upload the documents to? Am I missing something? Thanks in advance!

Does that mean you didn't submit birth certificate along with your application first time or they need the copy again?

I got my application returned on 12th June they quoted that I was missing country specific documents.When i submitted earlier system didn't generated Any documents for country specific requirements back in April so i put NA in document checklist.
Its weird.They received File on April 30 th.
They highlighted country specific requirements.Also they quoted that i should send updated document checklist noted 02-2018 at the bottom end that is already there.So I just added that form 5562 Supplementary one and mailed the package today.Hope it works well foe now.But its really disgusting.Now again in Queue.
Anyone knows resubmission takes back in queue for how long?

Same thing happened to us when we filed in March. There was nothing when we checked and they returned app due to same reason and same highlight of new checklist. So, we did application again, rechecked for any updated forms, added more proofs this time and checked every thing again and again.
Resubmission is treated as a new application unfortunately. Again, same wait from the very beginning. Simply put, it put us 6 to 8 weeks behind. Now we are waiting for AOR.
For which country imm 5562 form is filled because i havent filled that form so i m worried
