Something strange; I submitted the application on April 19 and got AOR1 on May 25. Didn’t get anything after that but today they requested to complete the background check form (IMM 5669) and we did submit this form in our application. Not sure why they are asking for it again?

I received email today to submit Family Registration document for principle applicant. Didn’t knew if it’s normal process to received document request after SA

Hello guys after you got DM whats next?and how long you have to wait for them to email you for SA?

This is certificate we can it from registry in which all the family member been listed.

In my case it took about a week to for them to send email for SA.

Is there any specific reason that why they returned? Please share the reason If you don't mind?

They returned it because of missing copy of my PR, that i included in my application but they said i didn't. so that was an unfortune.

May i ask how did you link your application online please ? I tried 20 times but i can't link it . Your help will be much appreciated.
Also , can i ask cic will be sending Medical request via email or can i only see it in my online account after linking?

My timeline is same as yours but no update yet.Just ECAS showing they have received application.My application was received on 30th April but no AOR yet.Fingers crossed!!

Timeline for those on the same date as me.

Application date: 4/13/18
AOR: 5/18/18
SA: 5/30/18
Medical Request: 5/31/18 ( appointment scheduled for 6/11/18)
Visa office email: 6/1/17 (file will stay in Mississauga)

How about the medical request?

i get medical request before SA email.

Update on application
Application date: 4/19/18
AOR: 5/26/18
DM: 5/30/18
Medical Request: 6/1/18 ( appointment scheduled for 6/13/18 didn’t get earlier appointment)
SA: 6/5/18
Additional document requested from Principal applicant today 6/6/18

Try using your application number, your spouse last name + place of birth. Remember to put 2 in total number of applicants. I was able to link successfully after 3 attempts.

I think you will defintely see medical request notice in GCKey account. I am not sure if cic will send you email though.

Hello Everyone ,

I hope everything is going well .

I am from India and my wife (PR in Canada) send my application to cic on 16 - Apr-2018 via courier service . According to our courier's tracking no. our application was received on 19 April-2018 .

Till today we have no update about our application

Another thing is that , Is it necessary to attachment your employer's offer letter with your application submission time or we can update it later on .
