Hi everyone ,
Application received April 19, 2018
AOR received May 26,2018

check online status (ECAS) and it shows inprocess
  1. We received your application to sponsor ********** on April 19, 2018.
  2. We started processing your application on May 25, 2018.
I got the same..my app was rec'd april 18 and I got an email May 25. Does this mean, our application will not be returned?

I have linked the application to my GCKEY..thank goodness! I failed the first two days I tried. So I think it's safe to say now that our app will not be returned :)

Make sure that for number of applicants you include the sponsor, so if there are no dependants you would fill in 2: PA + Sponsor

Hi, any advise?
We can not link application, we have tried the following:
-via the sponsor's login and applicant's login
-with 2 as the applicants (as we have no dependents on the application, so Sponsor+Applicant)
-tried on multiple days/ for 2 weeks
-current status is "being sent to VO" (which is Mississaugu)

Is there anything else we can try or do we just call or email them for assistance?

I am the sponsor and the account is under my name. Information I used was the PA’s info. I also failed the first two days even though I was inputting 2 for number of applicants. What worked for me was putting a space before the place of birth (I found it strange but it worked)

The sponsor will usually receive an e-mail that has a File Transfer Letter attached. This letter will say what visa office will be processing the application.

Thanks, just now seeing this (been supper busy). We did receive this letter a day or so ago. Is this considered the AOR2 or will you get another notification once it's "received" by the VO?

That is pretty random... I tried it and it didn't work for me... any other ideas/thoughts?

If your app was kept in Mississauga then you won't get another AOR. If it was sent to a visa office outside of Canada then you might get one. Some visa offices aren't consistent in sending them out.
