Yeah we waited 14.5 weeks for DM. However because you applied in April 2018, I think you’ll get DM before the 3 months. So maybe before the end of February you will get DM and oath March. To be honest, just wait. I could be wrong and maybe DM even sooner with Oath Invite. Good luck and keep us updated!

I just happen to check my ECAS today and found the statement below:
" We sent you a notice on January 24, 2019 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on February 11, 2019 at XXX PM. The notice you will receive will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us."

We have not received any email or notice via mail , Should I contact them now ? Does anyone else have the same issue ? Kindly advice.

Yes, Mississauga is also waiting. The last correspondence was in June when it started being processed.

Since there are less than 10 working days to Oath...I think you should call them. Sometimes it happens that they forgot to email but updated on ECAS...although generally you will receive an email or mail first and then it gets updated on ECAS...but not always. BTW....Congratulations.

I have not encountered anything like that (with my limited knowledge) but if they so..that should be good. I think it is better to carry a print out of ECAS which gives Oath invitation information. Carry your PR/COPR/2 pieces of ID and your passports (although they asked for PR only). The only missing is prohibition and release forms and since you do not have it...they would give those there and I just need to sign on those. It should be smooth. No worries.

I haven't heard of Casa Loma being a venue but if it is then that's a lovely place to do it.

Hello. My friend had a similar situation about 2 years ago. She applied with her then 18 year old daughter. But the daughter was the one who received an email to attend the oath. Though my friend's ECAS said that there will be an email sent, she never received it. So she just went together with her daughter on the day of the oath. Everything went well and they both became Canadians the very same day. This was in Edmonton office.
