Is there anyone in the group that has failed the exam last October and gets a schedule of the retest already? Please share when did you take the first test and the 2nd test. Thank you.

My husband got invite for test on August 22 to do the test on sept 6, but he failed. He got another invite I believe 2 weeks after and did it the second time on oct 11 and he passed.

My application is still In process too since June 19,2018. Got my Gcms notes and my file is sitting on Mississagaua office. Assessment for Eligibility,Knowledge, Language, Residence has not been started yet based on my 28 pages notes. Only criminal assesment was completed.
Do you see see anything on your notes about Triage?

Thank you for your response. Congrats!
It’s three weeks now and no invite yet. Will wait. Thank you again.

He didn’t get the Decision Made yet. So oath invite probably by next year.

yes, it says triage:1 but i dont understand what does it means.

Looks like my Triage is 0. I guess Triage means a red flag trigger or somethn similar, and 0 means none exists. Have you changed your address recently or has any information you gave during application changed. Not sure triage is a big deal though...Maybe someone with an experience on that here can explain more

No decision made yet? Just looked now and still nothing :( still IP.
Same here, Passed test on Oct 24 and still In Process. The officer told me on the exam day after interview that everything is good, I still need security clearance to be completed and I have to wait, but she did not clarify how long though.

Take a closer look at all the the pages on the GCMS notes and you will notice some prohibitions have been completed (from my notes for example on page 7 they have indicated Adult Eligibility prohibitions have been completed and I expect it relates to the the below quote etc from the
Citizenship: Decision-making procedures
  • In many straightforward cases not involving serious credibility issues, such as cases where an applicant appears to be prohibited due to a criminal conviction, is under a removal order, does not meet the income tax filing requirement (for applications received on or after June 11, 2015, only), or has unfulfilled conditions related to their permanent resident status, those may be decided without the personal appearance of the applicant. Refer to Decision-making without the personal appearance of the applicant.
because in my case all related conditions that could create this prohibition have been completed and passed. Prohibitions differ per stage, not passing the citizenship test can be a prohibition at that stage

Thanks for your reply Oboy, I appreciate you taking time and explaining this. As this was something that confused me in my GCMS notes too. (I have actually started a separate thread in hope that someone can clarify this for me - https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-i...ms-notes-prohibition-section-question.595111/).

In my case in the GSMC Notes (page 7), I have the following:

ELIGIBILITY ADULT PROHIBITIONS
ELIGIBILITY PROHITIBION: 1
Type: Grant Adult
Status: Completed.

While the second page ASSESSMENTS section says:
Prohibition: Not Started

So I assume this prohibition will be completed, when everything else is completed?

When he finished the test they told him everything was good nothing missing. But when we called them last week they said background check pending. So we are very confused.

maybe you are right, It could be a red flag trigger or urgency of the application. I did not change any information with my application.

How about your ECAS is it showing decision made? Thanks

No I am not applying for Canadian citizenship because I was born here already have it. The process is for my husband.

Hi @Libu
Could you please remove Notes from Spreadsheet under my name. It says Application returned but it has never been returned.
