Can anyone help me with some proof of citizenship questions?
I am helping my sister fill out the application for proof of citizenship for her new baby. These are some things we are hung up on.

1) The infant was born in the US. My sister was born in Canada and has a canadian birth certificate. The baby has no father listed on her birth certificate, so this brings some questions about what to list on the application under "Parent 2". Should she put NA? Or "unknown"?
2) Under section 6, part B for parent 1 it asks for a citizenship number if applicable. Is this the same as a birth certificate? Or do we just put NA since parent 1 did not immigrate, she was born in Canada?
3) In section 11 where it asks for contact information, is it ok to put my sister (parent 1)'s name and contact info? Or does it have to be the baby/applicant's name here with my sister's email? which leads to question
4) If we put my sister's name and email, does this mean we have to name her as a representative in section 12 and fill out an extra form? And what is the difference between the question "is someone helping you fill out this form?" and "Would you like to name a representative to do business with us for you?"

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Same happened to me. I passed from the first time, but still waiting for DM. I called them last week, they said you have to wait. It's frustrating

Yeah same. I was telling someone that it’s taking long for DM because of background check and because my husbands name is Mohammad and we are from the middle
East it could mean something more background check? We aren’t sure we are very worried.

I am from Middle East as well, I don't think the name of you husband has to do anything with the delay. When I called last week, they said still checking. Let's hope to have something exiting soon. We are going to have anyway. It is just matter of time. Good to know that I am not alone and worried

Congrats!! Updated:)

My wife and I just had the exam on Friday and both past. In the interview the officer said all looks good and nothing is pending.
On Saturday I got DM and my wife is still IP.
Any ideas as to why that might be?
Thanks

Congrats to those for whom the process is finished! This is ridiculous, we all same month applicants, but some already got their passport and others didn't even receive invitation for the test. :D:confused:
Do not worry just be patience . In my case I am expecting to get my oath next month probably February but ended up this month the reason I gues is not to think to much of this application and try to check my emails once a week though.
