Does Anyone got the Oath letter recently? Just Wondering how much time it will take to get the oath letter after the Decision Made.

Thank you

In the GTA, my application (family) has been processing since June 2018. I am not expecting any response for the rest of the year.

Applied in April but still waiting. My boyfriend applied in French and passed his test today, so the french system is faster. My other friend applied in May and has a test date already. I am still waiting, hopefully Calgary's applications go faster!

Did you move away from NB or are you here in NB now? I'm an NB applicant and still waiting for the test after going to 'In Process' on June 27th.

So far it seems that there are a few areas that are moving very quickly for their applicants and many other areas that are exceptionally slow with no movement for anybody there.

I moved away from NB man but NB didn't move away from me :)

I think it's case by case issue. Some are way faster than others. You are in IP before me. I am in IP since July tho.

Hi folks, is there anyone who has moved to a different province after getting PR and then applied for citizenship from the different province? It's been 7 months since I applied but still stuck in IP. Wondering if anyone is on the same boat?
6 months since I have applied ~ I can see lots of frustration across all the provinces from this forum...hmm

Question about passport stamps - I have a couple of stamps from Mexico and the UAE that I'm going to have translated since they are trips that I took during my eligibility period. However, I will be heading to Dominican Republic in December and I doubt I'll have my interview before then. Do the officers look at all stamps in your passport or just the ones in the eligibility period? Trying to figure out if I should wait and get the DR stamp translated too or just get it done now.

My passport has two stamps that not in English nor French. They even don't incate the dates.

The officer asked me about those two stamps. He couldn't understand and couldn't see the dates.

I told him I got those two stamps when I crossed the border by bus between my home country and the neighbor country.

He asked when was the trip. I told him it was back in 2009 and 2010, which fell outside of eligibility period. Then he has no further concerns.

I hope it helps!

Hi all. Could you please update the spreadsheet? Fingerprints requested from my wife (not myself strangely enough - we have applied together) on the 20th October. Sent back to CIC on the 29th October.
Much appreciated and thank you in advance.

Is this normal?
My friend applied a week before me and he had test 2 days before me at same location I had my test.
Now his ECAS says in process even though he was ahead of me at all other occurrences made but mine says decision made. He also passed the test and interview.

This is more than normal. My husband applied in March 28 application received April 3. He passed his test October 11 and he is still « in process » until today. So no decision made yet. I heard that it’s probably because background check is still not complete. So when it’s done then you get decision made. Fingers crossed!

Hey guys- April 2018 application submission. Thanks for all the info
I see a lot of you guys got your test invites already- Nothing on my side- Kitchener location. Tried calling a few time, but agent not available.
Any info on this area?
Appreciate the info

Hello all,
I’ve been a silent observer here for months and I must commend everyone particularly those responsible for updating the spreadsheet.

Please add me to the spreadsheet
Presence in Canada: 1521 days
Family application
Mailed application : April 10,2018
AOR: May 3,2018
IP: July 23
Location: Edmonton, Alberta

Edmonton office is slow but I have a friend that applied by end of May 2018 and wrote his test 2 weeks ago so I guess all case is different and assessed differently . I have a strong feeling that November will rain citizenship test for many people..
Cheers

I passed my test on Oct 24th. Those of you who got Decision Made on eCas, did you also get an email or just ECAS changed. My ecas is still in process
