My applications were returned today. They are saying that PR cards are not accepted as pieces of ID for minors. Looks like the changed the requirements last May. Old checklist (Oct 17) doesn't explicitly state this.

Anybody from Ontario the can suggest I can submit for identification for my kids? Thanks!

It's not good that your application is returned which made me anxious as I am in the same boat. Although ethically it should not be returned as you already submitted passports of kids as well, so health card and passport will serve as 2 ID documents for kids. Just thinking after 1.5 months we are at nowhere in the race. quite frustrating as we still need to submit passport for photo ID for kids ID and health card is already submitted. They should have sent the AOR and requested from you to submit another ID for kids to keep the process going. Good luck and I should also make copies of kids passport to send the moment I receive the forms back. Thanks

I consulted settlement advisor and was told that submit another copy of biographical page of passport as well as healthcare card for both IDs.

However, I’m still waiting for AORs of my families and getting worried if it might be returned due to unexpected issues on it.

Just in case if applications are returned for any reasons, processing fee for citizenship won’t be refunded like it was noted in payment instruction?

Payments won't be returned. There is an instruction on how to get a refund as part of their letter.

Hello, my sister goes to school in Ontario, grade 3. I Asked her school for "School record" it is a piece of paper that has her name, date of birth and says that she goes to school there signed by the principle (unfortunately no picture). I also included her PR card and her health card. I added a cover letter explaining that those are all the IDs that I can provide for her.
