I am in the same boat as you, My application is on April 29 and I was talking to the 1800 number today and they told me to wait and that my papers are ok I just have to wait to do the test and just to let you guys know my office in Mississauga.i know a number of people, who applied in April like me as well but still waiting. My number of friends who apply after April they got their test letter.
Did you come in contact with CIC , what they said as your time is almost over 12 months, as my time will maximum time will finish on 29 April, then i will see them
Just a note that there is no such thing as maximum wait time ...Maximum wait time is 12 months , so did not send any email and response from their side

Hello friend, I thought I should give you an update that my oath ceremony has been rescheduled and the rescheduling process went verysmoothly.Rescheduling will put you back to the queue which can take a while. They will not let you pick the date since there are a lot of people waiting for oath invite and they also try to clear the backlog. I understand your wish to have your parents there with you. You can get this last step done first and then show them pictures of the ceremony so they can share the joy with you. Oath schedule is hard to come by.
Why don't you try to re-schedule your parents' flight instead if that is an option? It's just my personal opinion...
Congrats @raman69
Look like it'll take about 3-4 months for the rescheduling process. It's great for those who have the time and no travel plan. I am just curious, did they get back to you before Mar 5 to say they would reschedule you or you simply did not show up for the ceremony. If that was the case, I would be so nervous to "miss" it.
But I am glad your parent was able to join you for this eventful occasion. My parent was unable to come to mine but I am one of those who just want to become Canadian as soon as I can ;D
