It looks pretty clear to me that you have to contact them.Hi all,
Quick question. ECAS says:
We sent you a notice on November 8, 2018 to appear and write the citizenship test on December 17, 2018 at 12:30 PM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.
I have not received anything by mail, but I did receive an email invitation. Can I just come to the citizenship test with this email, or would I need to contact them in case if it doesn't arrive by say December 15? Asking because its a real hassle to get through them on the phone.
I expect the email you received is what is been referenced here as"MAIL". Did you indicate anything other done emails as your preferred means of communication during your application? Correct me if I am not understanding your concern here... By default they will contact you through your preferred means and you should not expect anything else.Hi all,

The EMAIL INVITATION is actually THE LETTER. You opted to receive correspondence by email thus to IRCC the email is equivalent to letter.Hi all,
