you get an email, but it may even arrive 24 hours later - a bit of obsessive behaviour required.

Emails are always after the update on your account, some times even hours later. I must say you are very patient, people here keep checking their account every 5-6 hours and already ordering GCMS notes within 2 months of their AOR.

My profile got updated almost 24 hours before the email notification for MEP. I also remember reading somewhere in my account or in one of the emails sent to me after submitting my application, that CIC would inform you of any updates but it was up to the applicant to login to his account and check for any updates or new messages. But when it comes to PPR, a lot of applicants received an email while their account was still stuck in IP1 or IP2. I don't check my account as often as used to the first days but I think it is safer to login at least once a day.

Ha Ha! Well, we do not have a choice. I am in the US and on the H1B boat. So being patient has been the norm. The wait for Canada PR is nothing compared to the waits H1B will throw at you. And the processing time is 6 months for Canada. So realistically I am at less than 3 months. And I would not order the GCMS notes unless required and I am past 6 months. It is not worth it now in my opinion. Few other April AOR's with GCMS had nothing concrete in the notes anyways. So I am at peace with the decision to wait :) And there isn't an other option

The reason I asked the email question is stay away from logging in. It is just a little disappointment every 3 days. I am only expecting changes in my profile in July to say the least.

I was in Egypt and it is way too cheap to do it in Egypt. I thought I can get IELTS score quickly but it took several trials to get the required score
 
Hi,

I'm having another issue, I will leave the USA back to Egypt soon (I'll not return back to the USA again). What should I do?

Do I need another USA PCC or any other document I can get before leaving the USA?

OINP wants to give me 600 points but is not able to find my Express Entry profile :D, so they said ke either decline the ITA your received earlier or withdraw from OINP...
