Hi,
I am in IP1, since 26th April,
My application says ,"Your application is in progress, we will inform you when we start background check"

Does it normal?
I am from India and residing in India, can I call CIC to check the status of my application?
How can I call them? I mean theothr which number from India?

Also, If I want to know my visa office, from where I have to email them? For eg. From my mail Gmail which was mentioned in my application OR through IRCC web form?

I have noticed the following in terms of processing.

PNP, CEC, FSW-Inland, FSW-O (Indian residing in USA etc.), FSW-O (some other nationalities) are getting their applications processed under 45 days.

For others in FSW-O category the average time is around 60 odd days to 80 odd days or even more.

tks,
tbn2k18
You are absolutely correct. I also have noticed Indians & Pakistanis workin in the Middle East with Visa Office of Abu Dhabi get things rolling faster & receive PPR in approx 45 days.

This e-mail has automated response saying email inquiry doesn’t take in question such as VO inquiry. It says it has to be done by web form lol.

Wow....Congratulations. Awesome timeline. Can you please share your timeline in more detail? I noticed you are married...Is your wife in Canada with you? Did you move from MEP to IP2 or MEP to IP1 to IP2? What is your NOC? And finally, what do you think led to this quick approval? Waiting to learn from your case

My application status didn't change much. It is still saying "We are reviewing your eligibility... " &&" We are conducting bcg ..."", It is same since the day I passed medical on 25/26 april.
Yes, I am married and my wife is in Canada on open work permit.
NOC - Software developer (don't remember the code)

How is the applicant informed of PPR, via email?, or an update message on the profile? or both?

and what if someone deletes that email?

Via email only I believe, but afterwards the status in the account would change however my understanding is that this can take a few days or could not happen at all. Maybe someone else can confirm

Dear friends, Good day!
TimeLine (FSW-OINP- Express Entry Candidate)
AOR-20th April
MEP-26th April
IP1-26th April
IP2-4th May

I am an Indian citizen working and living in Malaysia. Any idea where is my application is being processed. Are applications for citizens applying from outside of their country of citizenship being processed in Canada or in their country of residence or country of citizenship.
Also, lets keep sharing our experiences here in this forum for others to get help.

Hope we all get PPR's by end of MAY.

i pray that your estimation is right but judging by how they are still struggling with January and February AOR, we could consider ourselves lucky if we have our PPR in 60 days or even 80 days.
