Thanks for ur guidanceWhen your Background Check starts. Though nowadays people from IP1 get PPR and sometimes people get stuck with IP2 for weeks.
Earlier they used to follow a pattern like --> AOR - NA1- MEP-IP1-NA2-IP2-PPR ...something like that. But that has changed this year.
thanks for replyThere is no status called ip2. Only two statuses, in progress and approved.
Crossed the 3 month mark today and still in IP1..

Damn I showed 50000 cad in icici FD receipts as well along with website link and screenshot which shows that they can be liquidated in 1 day. Hope they don't issue a procedural fairness.
Do you have more dependents? why 50000 CAD
Have 1 dependent but have one FD with 50000 cad so just provided that.
ok. that should be fine. I also heard about procedural fairness for the first time.
In General, one thing that everyone should keep in mind is not to overdo their application
- stick to required documents
- stick to required POF (with 15 to 20% extra CAD as per CIC requirements to absorb fluctuations
- make sure that application is complete (for eligibility points, BGCs)
- prepare a proper LOE for any divergence
Then rest is taken care of automatically![]()
One thing I did was to make sure that I just meet the required PoF (about 10% extra to absorb fluctuations). Didn't bother about showing any more because:You could have told this to us before![]()
the good part here is the variety of nationalities. too often you end up seeing a pool of just Indians, which makes you wonder where the rest are off to!Status as on July 4th
