I was able to get hold of a very nice agent yesterday who mentioned my eligibility and background check is still in progress. She said my file is @ CIO, Sydney, NS. Anyone here have experience or knowledge of the processing timelines of Sydney CIO?

I used WES for evaluation of education from my home country not for education from US

Man you need to withdraw your entire application. It seems you didn't read the CIC website before rushing to apply and submit your application.

You must have an ECA (WES or IQAS or equivalent) for any degrees OUTSIDE Canada that you want to claim points for. I too studied in the U.S and I had to do WES before entering the pool. The United States is NOT Canada. So why would you think your U.S degree would be exempt from an ECA? Please read the CIC website and understand what you are applying for properly as it seems you just winged it bro.

I agree with Babybae. I did WES for my MBBS done from India but not for my Masters completed in Canada.

As far i have seen the trend of getting ppr mails ... I noticed that it all depends on what is ur CIO . As ottawa is processing the cases really quick as compared to others!!
