There is something weird with our application, maybe you’ll have answer for it.
When i call cic and listen to automated system for the update, it says we need more documents in order to process your application, it has been like that for a month now. When we asked our lawyer to check the account if they have received any msg there is nothing. Would you know what that means?

Are you able to check your ECAS? Maybe there is more info there. It can also possibly mean that they are sending a correspondence by post mail. My consultant received a correspondence via post mail and it was the request for Sched A and police certificates. So could possibly in transit. But I suggest you take a look at your ECAS.

i understand that you are waiting for background to start.. what I am asking is if your background check status on GC key is "Not Applicable" or "Your application is in Progress" ?

I am April 12 applicant and mine is same as yours. Background check has not started yet.
No Idea how long its going take
