Hi Oulrish in checklist its been requested what I did is I dis not do any translations...most of my screenshot in Viber..Fb messanger has english word of love... and I screenshot our voicecall and video call how long we talk everyday... I screenshots some comments and tags from me my husband and relatives conversation... hopefully this one will help...if you think there is no english conversation between you and your wife even a word of love maybe thats the time you need to translate it. Goodluck to all of us... i submitted mine like 100 pages i think

I am waiting for background check to start mate !! People who applied later and whose file got transferred after me have their background started. I ordered GCMS it's been a month. So may be tomm. I'll get them

Not yet No email or message from them yes it changed after I requested notes havent received yet

Stick in there! This shows that each application are unique and different VOs treat each of them differently based on what they've seen, deem appropriate, speed of their work, their processes and all. Keep your hopes high bro. We're almost there.

To everyone who has a note saying that they need more documents:
It's not necessarily the case that they do. Someone mentioned a system glitch and I think that this is probably the case unless you've been contacted about more info.
Mine has been stuck on that for a long time and I queried it once when I phoned but the operator couldn't tell if they actually needed more info or if it was just an issue with the system. She had to send a note to the person processing it which takes a month to read apparently. We have had no further information requests off the back of this note.
So if everything is going ok I wouldn't worry too much.
But I guess if you have a good long distance phone plan and an hour to spare there's no harm in calling

100 pages ? they clearly state maximum of i think 10 pages or so ? For me i took screenshots of chats on whatsapp and call logs screenshots and made sure it did not exceed the required mentioned pages in the checklist. It does go to your local vo so i am sure they can interpret your conversations. there should be no need to translate.

You are not wrong. This request is a new one from the VO itself. That's a request for additional docs. And the statement for translation is in there and that's what threw me off a bit, whether to get it done or not. Our local VO is in Pretoria and my wife lives in Mauritius. Creole is not spoken in South Africa and hence makes the decision on whether to translate a slightly tricky one. My first thought is not to translate it since our application was not returned the first time I sent the convo without any translation. Just do not want to give them the chance to reject it. Still deciding on what to do moving forward.
