Thanks took like one hour in total and then the decision made notice popped up online today.

I am a April 2017 applicant and want to share a good news with you , I have received Oath Ceremony letter by email , surprised to receive it by email as I was expecting it by canada post , really happy to have it , they called it for December 2

Which location is going to be?
 
I also received my email with an invitation to the Oath Ceremony. Here is my timeline:

  1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on April 20, 2017.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on May 5, 2017.
  3. We started processing your application on May 11, 2017.
  4. We sent you a notice on October 5, 2017 to appear and write the citizenship test on October 21, 2017. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.
    *Note: Citizenship and Immigration Canada does sometimes schedule events on Saturdays or Sundays.

  5. We sent you a notice on November 8, 2017 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on December 6, 2017. The notice you will receive will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.
The ceremony will be in Scarborough Town Centre, the same place as the test.

Just Passed my test yesterday, Scarborough office ( I live in Mississauga) test was easy, waited for the interview, which was fairly quick, woman was very nice, she checked my papers then she said she will grant me citizenship and i should wait for the oath invite soon.

We sent you a notice on November 10, 2017 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on December 4, 2017. The notice you will receive will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

There's no time for me on on-line services... I haven't received the mail yet or Email.... is that normal?
 
i've just noticed that you only see the time when you receive the official mail... same thing as the test invite...

I received my oath invite by email since nov 7,2017 and up to now my ecas has not changed yet

you only need to print out if the invite is attached in the Email... No worries about the E-cas...
