i sent my application and lived outside canada for two months came back and took the test with decision made

You got lucky y friend. It is not me who says that but the actual application, the guide and the bylaws of CIC. Not everybody gets by without being questioned on this matter. Just go to the immigration office of Montreal airport and ask for records of people seized upon arrival for infringement of citizenship requirements. Those are public records and you can see how many there are resulting from breaching the intention of residency clause.

I am not saying that everybody will be seized, a lot won't but it is not the norm. And remember, you signed on the intention to reside when you signed the application. So if you are stopped for any reason, immigration has the right to question your intention to reside

Send it by express courier, it will arrive faster and you can track it much better than regular mail

Hello everyone,

I am also planning to apply in May, however I need clarification to make regarding my first child living with my ex in my first country. My child never landed as PR because he was included as non-accompanying. Please advise if I need to include his details (name of school and letter from school) in my citizenship application form under section 6(I) with my other kids for future reference.
