Update to spreadsheet. DM received today, plus two messages/letters in My CIC.

First one starts with this: You have now been issued your Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) form (IMM5292 or
IMM5688) for you and all accompanying dependants.

Second one starts with this: Reference section 51 under Conditions on your Confirmation of Permanent Residence. ( COPR )

I presume I am still waiting for the letter in the post? Then once I have that I can flagpole.

yep, letter next. mine took 4 days to arrive, but it went from the uk office to the uk. if you're in canada, it'll take a bit longer from the uk, but not that much. except it is christmas and canada post arent the best so might take a bit longer.

I would say affidavits from friends and family members really help. Remember to have them notarized.

Notarize letters...? They're not official documents, there is no point for this. It's an unnecessary payment. Focus on proof of communication and spending time together.

18-04-2016 Application received by CIC
...
08-12-2016 Decision made
21-12-2016 COPR received, passport visa exempt

Good luck to everyone that's still waiting.

btw, could someone update the april spreadsheet for me? many thanks!!

Tom2016 - did they send your COPR or Hong Kong?

Trying to gauge how long it's going to take to arrive here! Londo VO sending it to vancouver.

COPR received from Hong Kong VO.

The RMS is generally fast with delivery but canada post is really slow!
Good luck!

@JamesBox.

I would say it would arrive within 14 days.
I had it sent from the Hong Kong office.

If it takes longer than wait as it is holiday season. After 4 weeks I would send an IRCC inquiry.
This is what happened in my case and it took about 10 days to arrive after they confirmed re-mailing it.

Updated!
Hope you get it soon.

Thanks Gary, we got it!

DM on Dec 19, currently waiting for the COPR in the mail, then we'll likely do a border run for it.
Am I still able to update the spreadsheet or will you guys do it? (not sure who owns it)

Are you in Canada already? My wife is waiting for her PR application, wants to enter Canada as a visitor regardless of approval and flagpole when COPR received. Is it desirable for her to change the mailing address to that of Canada's or better to keep it and have her relative sent her the COPR?

Hi all

Is anyone April Appicant have some updated news fom Rome VO?

Thank you and happy holidays

Same, I am waiting for COPR from London to Vancouver. Approval/DM was Dec 14th and still waiting; just hoping it arrives before the new year!

Hello,
I am a USA Citizen being sponsored by my Canadian Spouse (Citizen)
We received an interview request on December 1st for January in Los Angeles.
In the letter there are 2 items I am a bit confused about:

3. ORIGINAL police certificate or criminal clearance (within 12 months validity) from each country in
which you and every one in your family aged 18 years or over have resided six months or more since
reaching the age of 18. For specific and up-to-date information on how to obtain police certificates from
any country, please consult our website at ... If you or your dependent(s) is/are United States citizens or United States permanent
residents, you may use a chaneller to obtain your FBI certificate(s).

22. RCMP based on fingerprints is required. Please refer to the below web site:

They both link to the same information for USA Citizens.
I had submitted an FBI background check initially with my application in April.
And now have again been fingerprinted for an additional one through a chaneller in the states.
So I am wondering if that will be enough to satisfy both of these requirements.

Thanks in advance.

Im in australia currently and landing in canada on april 3rd. If you have dm then theyve probably already mailed it to the address on file. You could email them to change the address to canada but the copr will probably already be on its way :)

In other news, spreadsheet has been updated. Sorry it took me a while. I was on xmas and new years break!

Only spotted 3 updates, so if I missed any, please let me know!
