NEED HELP GUYS.

My wife got a call from Canadian embassy Abu Dhabi office. The lady said that they are about to finalize her care. She said her medical expiring on nov 22. And asked if can or want to travel befor that. And said she can discuss with husband and family. She said if not then she may tel something else j stead of doing medical again which may take little time. She'll call my wife again tomorrow.

She plans to travel at the end of January if her case gets finalized. also she wont be in abu dhabi from dec 20 to jan 20. Any recommendations. Do you guys think she should give another medical exam or what is the other thing she may say

I just got our visa and CoPR. but there's a little mistake. They put 60 cm as my sons height instead of 80 cm. Is that a vital info ? Should i contact the embassy about it? Please i need help.

I think it is a minor thing. I would recommend not saying anything about it.. and i dont it matters at all.

Wow, I thought they are supposed to provide them within 30 days. I just requested mine last week.

You never know, your application might approved before the notes get to you.
That happened to me.

A couple of updates.

Yesterday, my wife got a request for a Police Clearance Certificate from Afghanistan where she is living now. She has been there for 7 months so that's only reasonable.

Today she received an email with her Passport Request. The message is also there when I login to myCIC. The only change in status is that background check is now in process. ECAS is still in progress.

Any idea what's going on? She will need her passport to apply for police clearance. They decided to go ahead without the police clearance? And that too Afghanistan police clearance?

She have to rush and get police certificate, if it takes time ,she should bring prove of applying..
I don't know how long it takes to get police check in Afghanistan...
But she must do fast so as to send a police and passport as soon as possible to get her visa

An Afghanistan police certificate will take 2 months. She will apply anyway but the question is the email has said that she needs to send her passport. And that the processing is concluded. The way it is worded it feels like they have made their decision. I don't know when the ECAS will change.
