How many officers worked on your case?
I saw at least 4-5 officers IDs on my notes.

I was wondering if there is anyone who has raised a CSE before and got a response?

In my case, I sent them a copy of my wife's CSQ 20 days ago, and still no response from them or anything telling me that they have attached the CSQ to our file.

Hi ,
My Ecas (PR side) also changed to Decision Made. But we haven' t receive any communication from the VO.
What could that be? Is it a good news?
How long does it take to get an email from them?
I am a bit worried ::)

Did you submit a document or follow up on overdue processing time? If it's the former, one usually won't get any response.

Better get the notes and see.

Hi. I'm just curious...did any of you guys also receive an email for the VO about Pre-arrival services? Is this the PPR already? I'm a but confused.

Hi everyone, im about to send our VO an email.

Dear Visa Officer,

I, sponsor, would like to get some information about my wife’s ongoing sponsorship application. About three weeks ago, I sent a CSE along with a copy of my wife’s CSQ and money transfer receipts since the beginning of our marriage. But I have not received any response. I wanted to know if you have received the documents I have you sent and if they were attached to our file.

It’s now been six months since we applied for spousal sponsorship application. I have visited my wife twice since we got married and I can’t go back till the process is over since I have a full time job here, and I’m sending her money every month.

We will be very thankful if you process our case on a fast track so we can live together as one happy family.

Anything I should add or remove before i send the email tou our VO???

First questions i have is are you the designated representative for your wife? If not they will not answer. You will learn far more and quicker by ordering your gcms notes. Can you imagine how slow this process would become if the visa officer answered every request such as yours. Order your notes first.

I did already, and they have made a mistake on our date of marriage. And the application assignment due date is at the end of this month. So, i wanted to make sure they have the right info on file before the 2nd VO reviews our file. I'm her sponsor btw

My MP told me it's never a good idea to involve a MP unless processing times have passed. I also thought my MP can speed up process or contact the embassy on my behalf.. She told me her involment can actually backfire me. She said ask yourself how you would feel if you are handling someone’s case and then your client involves someone higher than you. You would feel like the client is questioning your ability to doing your job. After hearing this I didn’t bother. She said it's more valuable when you email your VO yourself. It shows to immigration that you are interested in your case and you as a sponsor is continuously asking for updates and proves your marriage is legit. Because a person whose marriage is fake will never bother emailing the VO. Anyways that'S what she told me.

First part she told you is true, second part is questionable. I would not worry too much about the wrong date unless it is way off and affects what you think is the legitimacy. Go ahead and send theletter but do not expect an answer or the speed to change because of the letter. Myself I would stick to the facts.
The application dates do not mean much. Include an imm 5744 signed by your wife if you did not do it in the original application. A sponsor is not the same as the representative.

Yeah, they really screwed our date of marriage BIG TIME and it's worrying me a lot. On the notes it says:

- We got married in 2013 (not true we got married in sept 2015 and they have our marriage cert on file)
- It says I propose in August 2015, which is true but how could i propose in 2015 if according to them i got married in 2013?

Because of their mistakes, it's says review required under eligibility (no surprise). If only I could find out if they have updated our file before the 2nd review.

Impossible to predict and do not buy tickets until you have your passport as it can be anywhere from three days to two months
