Hey guys,

New to this form, and after reading a lot of your feedback and updates I've decided that this form could help me out in my situation.

I had applied for a spouse sponsorship back in April 2016. Now I just wanted to state that I had NOT submitted the medical examination with the application. It was stated on CiC that it was an option to submit the medical upfront or wait for further instructions from them to submit it.

My question is, I have received AOR 1 & AOR 2. Currently the status of my (applicant) is '' decision made'', however the PR status is still in '' Process''. I did not get any email or updates thus far, should I be worried? Will they request for a medical examination? It's already been 6 month and counting. Any advise would help.

Cheers.
You really should have gotten the medical done. Now it will slow down your application. I would get it done asap.

Sous02,

So I should get it done ASAP and have the medical centre just email it to CIC with the file number? Can this be done without CIC requesting for it?

Yes definitely and then I would send a cse inquiry telling them it has been done

thank you so much for the advise. Also still new to this, what is a "CSE" and where do I email them? where would I look to find and email address? also this is a outland app office in singapore.

Just google cse enquiry and you can send it in to that email. If you have singapores I would also email them

BTW, did anyone actually receive an email requesting for medical exam if not submitted with the app? if so, any chance of posting what it said?just so i can get an idea, and time frame.

cheers.

But I don't see any update in myCIC and ECAS.
They are asking for things like passport, 2 pics, Appendix B form...fees

Hope I did not make everyone too uptight or anxious because of this..I think my wife's was a little early for some reason.
I was thinking we will get ppr Nov or Dec. Hope you all hear something soon.

congrats buddy! hopefully everyone else can get process fast as yours.

ChellyTorred,

They ask for Medicals and fees when they acknowledge to you they have received your application to sponsor your spouse
They will send email to the Sponsor, I assume that you are the sponsor? hope that helps

the concern is that, the application was received and in process, all the fees were paid upfront via online. I got a email stating that I have met the requirements to be a sponsor and the file has been transferred on June 2016. It's October and I still didn't get any updates regarding med request. That's the only concern, it may take longer to receive a request for meds, but this waiting game is a killer.

Wow! Congrats, CoastBC! such a weight off your shoulders! no more waiting for you and your wife!
Godbless! ;D :D

For me they asked for fees and meds.

But I did see some posts here where CIC ask applicants to submit their Meds when they are close to approval.

Some applicants went ahead and did their meds anyway.

If I am not helping much, hope someone else here can help you :(
