My husband just got COPR today in the mail from Ottawa! I'm not sure why but I was still expecting something to go terribly wrong so I couldn't fully relax till he send me a photo of the actual document.

Here's our timeline:

App received: April 8, 2016
AOR1: April 30, 2016
SA: May 16, 2016
AOR2 : May 17, 2016
Additional documents requested (police check): May 17, 2016
Decision Made: June 12, 2016
COPR received: June 22, 2016

The whole thing took 76 days, which funny enough, is faster than it took to get his police clearance from the FBI. He needs to enter by December 8th which isn't a big surprise because it's around when the medical expires. We're aiming for August landing. It's so incredibly excited to be closing this long distance chapter of our lives, I still can't believe how quickly it went. Good luck to everyone else that is getting SA now and waiting for DM!
Congratulations! ;D Yeah, my FBI background check took 18 weeks to process and an additional 2 weeks to arrive... I was outside of processing times unfortunately.

They lost ours the first time around! We sent the prints back in August in preparation for applying in December and around November realized we never got it back. When we called they said they never got it so we had to do it all over again and they wouldn't expedite the second time around... so many tears and such frustration at that point. We ended up delaying our application till April and even then still had to send it in without the police check, but luckily it didn't seem to slow down processing time.

Final ecas shows in process today after 10 days from sponsor approval letter

Mine says in process as well but when I clicked on it, it says we recieved ur application xxxxxx
Medical result recieved

Nothing more, is that normal

This morning ecas updated again, now we have third line saying we started processing your application June 20, 2016

A question for all those people that know how to order GCSM notes: My husband, the principal applicant, is in Canada on an iec visa which means he can order notes for himself through the privacy act correct? What documents would he upload for support though? We can upload his visa and the stamp and his passport. Would that work?

Good for you! Does it mean that ECAS can update any day?

Thanks!
It seems to...mine has updated two days in a row now, and it seems to happen overnight. I'll check in the evening before bed, and then in the morning when I wake up and it changed!

Wow! That is interesting!
Some of us it takes ages for a single line to be updated.... I guess its all about luck and the officer handling your file.
All the best!

My ECAS now says "in process" as well, but we haven't got a letter or email regarding SA

CPC Mississauga received my application April 11 and it has been 73 days without any form of communication whatsoever. No AOR or SA nothing! Is this a typical occurrence or is something wrong with my application?

First call CIC and see if they will put in an inquiry, since you are now past the posted processing time. If that fails any results, then contact the sponsor's MP in Canada and ask them to inquire for you.
