so, then it really only took 4 days, which is consistent with Canada's post delivery timeline for items being mailed locally. i think within the same province it's 5-6 days, and locally it's 3-4.

a second acknowledgement of receipt that can be sent by the visa office. Note that not all visa offices send an AOR2, so not receiving one doesn't mean anything about your file - it just means the visa office doesn't send one.

I called every week for 3 weeks LOL. Mind you, it was passed processing times. Eventually I got a nice agent who told me I was approved.

Keep on trying. If the Sponsor passed, your ecas should be 'In Process' right?

Assuming you don't get any email or mail, how will you know if you already completed SA? Aside from calling the call center? What should it say in ECAS?

PA side should turn to "In Process".

i was told i was approved to sponsor my wife (sa) on june 3 , my pa side in process two days later ,i was told i was mailed sa letter but not yet received,,,canada post sucks

my husband called CIC today and they told him that he was approved as a sponsor and that my papers will soon be sent to Manila VO. They also said that some emails were not sent of the same day when your application was actually approved. And of course Ecas is not really updated. Finally, had some good news

Congratulations! Yeah, for us the email was sent one week after the actual approval.
