I think I got some good news. Not sure. What do you think?

hello guys,

I got my SA today after 46 days. I am the sponsor and I just wanted to know if the PA (person being sponsored) also gets any email when the Sponsor Approval is done or when AOR1 is received. I got my email today at 10:25 am. Is it just the sponsor who gets all emails from cic?

Thanks

Only the sponsor gets AOR1 and SA emails.

I think it is great news but I am confused. How did you go from being past the 30 days for submission of additional information to this notice? Was it because of your phone calls or MP?

I think I have to correct myself. It's "just" a ppr. Cause they asked me to send my passport in. But oh well good news are good news!
Correct me guys if I'm wrong.

They didn't mention anything about being past the 30 days, I think. I don't know what it was that did it, but I am like a force of nature sometimes. I hussled to get as much evidence as I could and emailed them in 2 days. I kept going and still have more that I didn't send them but now they emailed me this so I think I shouldn't send them more stuff. The MP didn't get back to me.
I really hope that now they are convinced that I want to go asap and this is their way of saying "ok ok, we BELIEVE you. Geez!"

Actually, I think it was my emails. I sent them a lot of files of extra proof.

This is funny and equally strange...

I am still not able to access my ECAS, however when I called CIC they told me my application has been approved and my file has been transferred to NDVO for further processing.

I can access ECAS on PA side, but I cannot access my ECAS.

Is there anyone in this group with same issue ?

Good! So they didn't wait 30 days and so... this means it's gonna be ok and they believe me?

Congratulations everyone on all the SA's!!! Fantastic news! Love hearing about progress :)

How come you have to send your passport at one point??
What if you have to use it, and you got no clue when you get it back?
Say, if I was in Canada visiting my husband and I was told to send my passport within a limited time frame, I'd be kind of unnerved.

I just called CIC and found SA this afternoon.

App received April 28
AOR1 May 17
SA June 13

He said they sent mail today and give five days to receive it and he said they sent email too, but never got any email

File transferred to New Delhi.
