oooh I am interested to know if the expiry date is in 2 months, 3, 6 or when because of what I was told by Ottawa. The expiry date is not always the same as the medical exam.

I will let you know, our medical expires early December so it definitely won't be past then. But he will definitely be moving here before then!

Kinda poor they expect you to move as soon as you get copr. As if everyone is ready to just up and go as soon as it arrives. Got stuff to sort out! And besides, the processing times may be averages but that's all weve got to go by.

No SA mail yet.. PA side is in process with two lines. How long CIC takes for SA mail.

I would say about 50 days. But can take up to 60 days. Theres also a chance you got SA approval but they never sent you a letter.

The CIC website says 43 days, you can always try calling into the call center. If you get nice agent he might be willing to give you information or put a request.

I just received an email from CIC with official confirmation that I have met the sponsorship requirements. Funny, because ten days ago the call agent told me I would be getting regular mail. The attached PDF has today's date on it, so I will update the spreadsheet with today's date as the date for SA.

My spouse's application has been sent to Vienna.

Hi all

I just found that I did not mail IMM 5285 (Spouse/Common-Law Questionnaire) but all the others (including IMM 5490-sponsored spouse/partner questionnaire).

Should I mail it? (looks alike with the latter one and not in the 'document check list'.)

Thank you in advance.

If you haven't received AOR or SA yet, sending it now will not guarantee it will get connected to your application correctly. If your file has been sent to the visa office, then you can send it along with the file and sponsor's UCI number. Usually, it's best to wait until it's actually requested.

Happened same with me. I sent IMM1344 updated form later. And they attached new form and replaced outdated one. I printed one page and paste it on the courier's front side stating updated document , and mentioned the last courier no. Date and time and name of person who received it. So it worked for me and after I got my SA agent has told me that they have received it.

Thank you in advance.

AOR received April 30, SA May 19, Application is forwarded to VO-V. I not sure if I have to wait till the request for it.
