Hello Everyone.

My application for spousal sponsorship for was received at CPC-M on April 26 2016. I still have not heard anything back from CIC.

Has anyone in this forum applied around the same time and have received sponsor approval.

Please advise.

Have you received AOR1?? My application was received the day after yours and I have AOR1 but not SA. I don't expect that for another few weeks.

Does anyone know the Ottawa visa office phone number? I wanna call them tomorrow but can't seem to find a number.
Thanks!

Good luck to everyone and congrats to those who got good news these days.

Question: I'm canadian citizen who wants to sponsor my wife a permanent resident in US. But she is living here with me in Canada as a visitor. Could I still apply for an OUTLAND application? Would that be a problem?
Thank you.

Yes, you can! :D I just applied outland from within Canada and received Decision Made with no issues. Due to being a U.S. PR her application could either be processed by her country of citizenship or residence. If she's processed based on her US PR, her application will likely be processed in Ottawa, which is a very fast visa office.

i am not sure if it's a culture appropriate. do you guys call it a celebration?

No change in Ecas still.
I got SA on 26th May. I do not know why I am being delayed.

Guys, after my phone call with CIC and hearing that my application hasn't really been touched (I'm at 50 days and only got AOR1), I have decided I want to apply for visitor visa for my wife to come here.
The visitor visa (at least for my country of origin) requires a medical exam to be done as well. She just did it few months ago for our Spousal Application. Can we submit the same confirmation sheet of that medical exam for this new application as well?
My logic would say yes, however, on the sheet there is this item that says "family class" or something. Has anybody had this kind of experience before?

Oh johny so sorry to hear that :(
