Hi Guys,

I could notice that in many cases, IELTS was requested. Why ?? and it depends on the country of the applicant?
I thought that just Work Permit Visa need that.
Which the minimum grade?

tks

Called CIC and agent confirmed about SA approved on 3rd June.

Alright guys, if this is going to make some of you feel better, I think I should put it in here!

My AOR1 was April 25, so today it passed the processing times and as I had not heard back I decided to call CIC.
The agent was very polite and helpful, and after putting me on hold to investigate came back to me with this: "Unfortunately they haven't yet started to look into your application. I am sending them an email blah blah..."

So 45 days, My application though received, not yet even touched!

I think johnybegood meant what visa office will the PR application be processed. What country is she from?

As she is from a visa-exempt country, she will likely not have too many issues coming back into Canada. Be clear with the CBSA when she tries to return that she is only "visiting" you. This means minimal luggage and proof of ties to her home country just in case they ask.

We sent my sponsorship application and her PR application to Mississauga Ontario. We did it here in Canada since she is here right now,but it is outland forms we filled out.

Hey good day just wanted to know if there's anyone here who have an idea of how long it take to process your application in jamaica from: it goes into process to medical results received..
Thank you

Hi Shaunking,

My husband application has been sent to Kingston VO. It was moved into "in process" status over the weekend, but no other communication since then.

Check out the thread for Kingston VO http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/kingstonjamaica-t29680.58215.html for updates on Kingston processing timelines. From what I've gathered Kingston VO seems to be one of the slower offices but you never know.

Thank you fek2016
Mine has been in process one 5 weeks now
With medical results received at the third line so I'm just hoping to hear soon ,cause it went into process like 10 days after it was received in Kingston now making it over 5 weeks since
