Not necessarily, She comes from a visa except country.
I think johnybegood meant what visa office will the PR application be processed. What country is she from?

As she is from a visa-exempt country, she will likely not have too many issues coming back into Canada. Be clear with the CBSA when she tries to return that she is only "visiting" you. This means minimal luggage and proof of ties to her home country just in case they ask.

I'm not quite sure about visa office, since she just came without visitors visa, but we did apply for a visa extension and got extended till 2016/July/02, we sent it somewhere in Ontario.

Now that I'm finished university for the winter break, it's back to wondering about my application now!

At 47 days now so expecting it any time now. Time difference here makes it especially difficult to call CIC as to catch them just as they open I need to stay up really late and by the time I get up its impossible to get through. Guess I'll just have to wait.

We're off to Vancouver a week today for a 2 week trip so hope to have SA by then!

That's great! It's at least something ;D.

My PA side is still sitting at "in process" with 3 lines... I'm getting more and more anxious as the days go by. I'm expecting a little extra scrutiny because of the voluntary withdrawal I was given a year ago combined with the age difference (it's only 10 years, but still).

Hey good night guys I'm new here I'm a new applicant ,I'm from jamaica, married to a Canadian citizen,
We filed for permanent resident on March 2016 ,
I just have a few questions not sure if anyone could help me out with answers thank you.
Here goes:
1)does any one has an idea of how long it take to get a response after it goes into process, we have already sent everything in all medical all fees have been paid ,everything has been received, my file shows
1)we received your application for permanent resident on march××2016

2)we started processing your application on may ××2016
3)medical results have been received

Does anyone have an idea of how much longer we have to wait
Thank you

This means you have AOR 2 already.
It depends where you VO is. Some process faster like for example Ottawa others take longer...

congrats freeze!
you're 2 days before me but seem to be moving along pretty steadily! :)
