Hey guys, I have more good news! After getting back from seeing Captain America: Civil War (which actually ended up being a good movie by the way), my eCAS changed to this on the PA side:

"We received xxx application for permanent residence on April 6, 2016.
We started processing xxx application on May 31, 2016.
Medical results have been received."

My husband is on a vacation from work right now and all of this (including SA) has happened during this time. I'm hoping that we get DM by the time his vacation ends ;D.

Good luck to everyone! I hope people continue getting good news. If you're over the processing time for SA, hang in there. It took our SA 54 days.

Here's what's hilarious. We still haven't gotten our SA email! We only know that we got SA because we called a few days ago.

Under Permanent Residence status, it shows:
1. We received xxxxx's application for permanent residence on April 18, 2016.
2. We started processing xxxxx's application on May 30, 2016.

Does this mean AOR2? I still haven't received SA yet. Should I start ordering notes?

Thank you ;D. I bet your SA will be in the next batch. It's a shame that CPC-M has been so unreliable lately, but I wouldn't worry just yet. I know it's hard not to get frustrated and upset when you know it's taking longer than it should.

Ours were probably sent out snail mail, haha. CPC-M is really really busy right now, so it could also just be very late.

I'm very curious to see how long your case is going to take at HKVO as well as other cases. I'm eager to see more offices start to speed up.

Can anyone suggest me if it is better to do medical exam in advance before submitting file in New Delhi, or wait till medical request ?

Before. Do NOT wait until they request a medical. You are still expected to complete an upfront medical with an outland application. Inland applicants have the choice of waiting until the request or submitting one upfront. If you don't include the medical you probably won't have the application returned, but it is possible and will at least delay your processing (and if your VO has a backlog, this delay could be significant).

Thanks, anything else you can suggest for faster processing

Not really. The only thing we can really do to ensure that our applications get through as fast as possible are just including everything upfront. If they have to request additional documents, it may delay the application. I would suggest submitting your Right of Permanent Residence Fee upfront as well (this is technically optional. They will request it during the application process, but you can avoid that request and the delay it could cause by including the fee upfront).

No problem ;D

Finally some movement on my ecas. Line 2 was edit today. Medical results revived. Doesn't mean anything right? Or could it mean the forwarded it to my VO?

No change on the status though...

Sorry, I don't think it means anything (I think it used to). I had that line the whole time I've been able to access eCAS (about a week after AOR).

At the very least, you know someone had to put that information in there.
