IMM5540E. Question 8. Have you resided in countries other than Canada? My husband lived with me & our kids in my home country for 4-5 years as a visitor visa. We often go through border to simply get a new stamp for his visa extension, does it still consider him as reside in other country or not?

Yes of course he is because they mention if you lived more than 6 months and he should get police clearance from your home country

My husband is the sponsor and a Canadian. I don't think he required Police Clearance except me right?

The sponsor is not required to get a police clearance.

Under Permanent Residence status, it shows:
1. We received xxxxx's application for permanent residence on April 18, 2016.
2. We started processing xxxxx's application on May 30, 2016.

Does this mean AOR2? I still haven't received SA yet. Should I start ordering notes?

Yes, that's the equivalent of SA and AOR2. Congratulations! I would call them to confirm your SA. That's what I did and they told me I got SA even though I haven't received an email or letter.

I don't. Have you received SA yet? I'm still not sure if it's gone to HKVO.

Give them a call to confirm. Youll find out your vo in the sa email/letter when it arrives.

Update the spreadsheet with your in processing time and then put the sa date when you find out.

Congrats!

Not yet, still waiting for the SA email and if I don't receive it within this week I'll probably call CIC next week.

just remember you aren't the only one.. lol..

Hey guys, I have more good news! After getting back from seeing Captain America: Civil War (which actually ended up being a good movie by the way), my eCAS changed to this on the PA side:

"We received xxx application for permanent residence on April 6, 2016.
We started processing xxx application on May 31, 2016.
Medical results have been received."

My husband is on a vacation from work right now and all of this (including SA) has happened during this time. I'm hoping that we get DM by the time his vacation ends ;D.

Good luck to everyone! I hope people continue getting good news. If you're over the processing time for SA, hang in there. It took our SA 54 days.

Here's what's hilarious. We still haven't gotten our SA email! We only know that we got SA because we called a few days ago.

Yes, I have been able to access eCAS with sponsor details for quite a while now.
