13 more people from april is waiting for aor 1 and nobody from april got SA yet.i hope the rest of the people from april would get the aor from cpc and at least 10 or more going to get sa next week. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D :D :D :D :D

Glad I am not the only one suffering from this obsession. I would be lost without this group. I applied for my 12 yr old stepson to come for the summer and it was denied. Figuring he would transfer schools in the middle of his next school year we thought he could come practise his English and get used to Canada do it would not be so scary. It was denied on likelihood he would stay, purpose of trip and travel history. I guess Canada is scared a 12 yr old might abandon his life with a fs in process and visiting his new father is not a good enough reason. Don't get me started on a 12 yr old with a limited travel history. I rewrote everything and have tried again.

Thanks a lot for your support everyone!

From what I remember logging into eCas is a bit of a pain. Always a lot of info to enter before you get to the page you want. All I want is my AOR to show they've received it, opened it and acknowledged it then I can rest a bit. Just wait for the emails to flow in. And by flow, I mean trickle!

How long does it take to process CSQ? That's our next step after SA

Any new aors or sa today??

Hi Everyone, I have a couple of questions concerning the shipment.
I have read on some websites that you don't need to send all the documents at the same time. you can send some stuff later like :

Medical check
Police check

I have heard that if you just send a paper written that you have an appointment with a doctor, and paid for the police check but its not completed yet, it will be fine. You can literally send the documents by mail later on.

Is that true ? We can provide it later by fax or email.

Or we have to wait until the completion of both checks, and send the hard copy ?

No. Doing an outland application you need to do both the medical and police check upfront. There are certain cases where an application will not be returned if you don't submit these upfront, but most of the time if you don't include these you are asking to get your application returned.

Example: The PCC from the USA takes around 3-4 months to get still. What most people do in this instance is write a letter explaining the long processing times and that they will submit it when they have it.
Also, if the principal applicant is pregnant what will usually happen is the PA will get all parts of the medical except the x-ray done (which would be done after the birth).

Does this make sense?

Yes it makes sense, thank you.

Here in Japan, the Doctor told my wife that they send the result directly to Canada. We will be given an IME code ( immigrate medical examination ) to prove that it is her result.

Have you heard of that before ?

Yep, that's completely normal. The doctor is the one who submits the actual medical results to the CIC. What you get is a piece of paper with an IME code and the applicant's information (and a photo that they take at the appointment, if the doctor is part of the eMedical system) to send with your application.
