Was your application forwarded to the corresponding VO already? Otherwise I am confused :) Or you already received SA?
No. I haven't had my application forwarded or received SA (I wish!). I logged in with my husband's information (the sponsor) and I can see both the sponsorship portion and my side with his information. The part of my side that says it has been received only means that the whole application has been received by the CIC in general, which is true, since both parts of the application are sent together to Mississauga and checked for completion.

I think you'll probably get AOR in around a week ;). I wouldn't worry if it doesn't come soon though. Getting AOR is fairly up in the air. There's a strong chance you won't be able to even access eCAS for a couple/few days after getting AOR too. I've gotten into a nasty habit of checking it constantly now though, so being able to access the information has its downside.

Yes. I'll be more specific on what my eCAS shows:

There are two side. The left says: Sponsorship Application Status. The right says: Permanent Residence Application Status.

The information for the left, the sponsorship side, says "In Process" and when I click on it:

We received your application to sponsor xxxx on April 6, 2016.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on April 28, 2016.
We started processing your application on April 27, 2016.

The information for the left, the Permanent Residence Application Status says "Application Received" and when I click on it I see:
We received xxxx application for permanent residence on April 6, 2016.
Medical results have been received.

Thanks!

There's no "Medical results have been received." line in mine. Although medical exam was done upfront yet later further tests are requested, so is it right to assume the medical file won't be sent until further tests are complete?

What if further tests are complete and turn out the local doctors recommend treatments which may not be necessary for spousal case? Is it possible for them to "hold onto" the medical file without sending unless we agree to the recommended treatments? Does the local doctor has this level of power? As you know, not all treatments are necessary for the PR application to be approved but some local doctors tend to profit from these channels.

No, the medical results would/should still be sent to the CIC. I really wouldn't worry about it. eCAS is notoriously inaccurate. Some people have had their COPR show up without even seeing DM in their eCAS. Some people never have their eCAS updated.

Edit: I would give it more time and see if the CIC sends you any correspondence about your medical. You can also order notes right away to confirm that they have your medical records on file... though those take 30 days to get.

Well, I might be a little obsessive about it to be honest. I check the spreadsheets, this forum, and my eCAS multiple times a day. I don't really have anything better to do though, since I'm here in Canada as a visitor.

i do the same i checking this forum, the march forum, spreadsheet and ecas so many times a day.. i wake up and this forum is the first thing i check on my phone :/ and everytime im hoping to see the april applicants starting to get SA.. im getting a bit obsessive lol ???

Thank you! (Keeping my fingers crossed)

Now I'm scared... I did medical upfront too and it doesn't say anything about it under applicant's status

And by the way, when I want to check my application, it says the status is updated Tuesdays.. Does that mean there won't be any changes although the application might have moved on? In that case I should stop checking so often..

haha well after a 22 hours sleep i had almost 3 pages of post to be gone through ......have a happy sunday people :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

Hi Kathi2,

The "medical received" status took a few days to appear on our eCas account. I don't think it's anything to worry about, since I believe the updates are inconsistent. Just keep checking - but I'm sure like us all you do that constantly. My daily routines are checking the forums, spreadsheets, eCas and email. LOL then repeat in another hour. I wonder if they can see how many times we logged into eCas :o mine would be ridiculous.

LOL same here,....am so ashamed to say how long i have been logged on to whatever you pointed out above some says more than 7 days and 16 hours or so....whenever i open a browser google automatically finds out all my points of interest right away even though i dont have my browsing history enabled( being more sarcastic).happy to see people sharing their timelines asking questions and getting answered and i even know who it is by simply looking at their profile name. thank you everyone and may god bless you all in your effort to unite your family together.

Hi kathi2

my wife did her med check almost same time as yours and no line indicating it is recieved yet - you are not alone.
