Yeah, a few more days isn't a huge deal, but I just hope it doesn't continue creeping back towards 60 days. From what I've seen on this forum it's not unheard of for SA times to fluctuate between 30-60 days throughout the year.

I'm keeping a close eye on those last few March applicants on the 2016 Outland spreadsheet who haven't received SA yet. I think it's safe to say that when they get SA that we should be seeing a few early April SAs with that batch. Just my theory though.

Also do remember that there isn't a 100% compliance rate with spreadsheet updates. Not everyone is as obsessive about it as some of us are ;)

Well, I'm more looking at general trends ;). I've been taking into consideration that a lot of people don't regularly update the information on their cells in the spreadsheet. I'm just going to take it as a good sign that early April applicants should be getting SA somewhat soon after the applicants from the last week or so of March (there are quite a few).

A fourth applicant from March through Ottawa got Decision Made today :o can this actually be the new normal for this office?

Hardly obsessive. Update it once a day depending on daily inputs. Its a resource for current users and future users. Provides more accurate information than cic who are hard to contact.

Id leave it alone but some trolls used to go through it and delete the formatting and input random data. Without a moderator its pointless having a spreadsheet.

Well, I might be a little obsessive about it to be honest. I check the spreadsheets, this forum, and my eCAS multiple times a day. I don't really have anything better to do though, since I'm here in Canada as a visitor.

I hear you. I keep checking eCAS all the time too. And guess what. I just checked it again and it actually showed something for a change. I can now access my application status. :)

Oh, nice! It took me a few days or so after I got AOR to be able to access eCAS. It was nice to be able to finally see things online. I'm looking forward to the new system at the end of this month (it's supposed to have more information and you're supposed to be able to see changes in real time).

Where can we read more about these upcoming changes?

Took me a couple minutes to find it again. Here you go: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1222&top=3

Congrats to the AORs! Looks like April is almost done getting AORs. I hope we start seeing some SAs soon.

Looks AORs are faster than last couple of months, you think that'll speed up the whole process given the VO will process at the same speed as usual? Hope so!

Hmm, well, in terms of processing times AOR doesn't really matter, only the SA, which is slowly creeping back up in processing time again. It's normal for SA to fluctuate between 30-60 days throughout a given year.A faster SA does shave time off of the total processing time though.

For those who's already received AOR1 and medical completed upfront, are you able to see "medical received" on your online status update?

Yep, I can see that on the applicant's side (mine). It has said that the whole time I've been able to access my eCAS.

By "the applicant's side", do you mean "Permanent Residence Application Status" and it shows "medical received" when you click on "Application received"?

So yours shows 2 lines?

Yes. I'll be more specific on what my eCAS shows:

There are two side. The left says: Sponsorship Application Status. The right says: Permanent Residence Application Status.

The information for the left, the sponsorship side, says "In Process" and when I click on it:

We received your application to sponsor xxxx on April 6, 2016.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on April 28, 2016.
We started processing your application on April 27, 2016.

The information for the left, the Permanent Residence Application Status says "Application Received" and when I click on it I see:
We received xxxx application for permanent residence on April 6, 2016.
Medical results have been received.

Was your application forwarded to the corresponding VO already? Otherwise I am confused :) Or you already received SA?
