Thank You!

Got my AOR. Updated the spreadsheet. 18 days from application received.

All the best everyone!

2 AOR's on the weekend! CIC seems to be working over the weekend which is a bit surprising. Good news though.

wait until you have a case specific file number/uci number and then submit it. you can pay whenever though, just keep the receipts.

Hello all, i applied last week of april, no pretty sure if the file has been received or not. But i have an emergency situation in india. I need to go to funeral. Will there b any kind of complication if i go to india for 2 weeks. Planning to leave tomorrow.
Please reply. Thanks in advance

Are you the sponsor or the applicant? how long are you going for? if you're the appliacnt applying outland then you should be fine so long as your visa is still valid.

if you're the sponsor it depends if youre a citizen or a pr. if youre a citizen then no problem, if youre a pr then youre technically meant to be in canada for the pr process. but 2 weeks should be ok. seek further advice on the main forum regarding this question if youre a pr and sponsor.

Oh cool. Thank you! I can easily change things to Eastern time. It's only off by 6 hours though. The only date that is off, is the application sent date then. Because I put my time. From now on I'll try to put eastern time. I don't want to give you more things to do.

absolutely no hassal. I don't mind editing the spreadsheet up. change the dates if you want so it reflects whats happening to your application. :)

Congrats! Amazed at CIC working on a saturday! only 18 days for the last 7 AOR's with one 12 day wait. Pretty decent!

Want some SA's this week for those at the top of the list!

Congrats to the AORs! Looks like April is almost done getting AORs. I hope we start seeing some SAs soon.

about 12 people waiting on AOR's according to the April spreadsheet (minus the two who havent entered any details yet).

According to the CIC timelines we should start seeing some approvals this week and other AOR's. Once that's done everyone is visa office dependent then!

Yeah, although I think some of us might end up having it take a little longer. The website now says 41 days for SA and from what I can see on the 2016 Outland spreadsheet the times seem to be creeping back up a little bit for that. I really do hope I end up getting SA within a week though.

congrats!! really surprised that CIC is working thru the weekend to get the AORs out. Wondering if they are putting in extra efforts to cut down the queue wait time for the summer vacation season which most people do take at least one week off over the course of the summer.

yeah saw that. seem to be increasing, but only by a couple of days. was 39 for a while.

Yeah, a few more days isn't a huge deal, but I just hope it doesn't continue creeping back towards 60 days. From what I've seen on this forum it's not unheard of for SA times to fluctuate between 30-60 days throughout the year.

I'm keeping a close eye on those last few March applicants on the 2016 Outland spreadsheet who haven't received SA yet. I think it's safe to say that when they get SA that we should be seeing a few early April SAs with that batch. Just my theory though.
