I have good news from Mississauga today! Not SA, but a sign that they have looked at my application. I had a voluntary withdrawal that I forgot to mention in my PR application. I emailed Mississauga this before I even got AOR:

"After submitting my application for permanent residence I realized that I made a mistake on IMM5669E Question 6 Part E. I checked the box that I had not been refused admission to Canada, when I have. What happened was that last July (I do not remember the exact date) I tried to enter Canada and visit my husband (then boyfriend). Because I was in the process of moving from Alaska to Washington I didn't have strong enough ties to the US. However, the CBSA officer did allow me in for three days. She seized my passport and told me to return on the third day, collect my passport, and leave Canada. When I came back she gave my passport back and had me sign a "voluntary withdrawal" and said I could come back when I have stronger ties to the US. I was not aware that this counted as being refused entry, since I was actually allowed into Canada for a few days. I am still unsure whether or not this was a refusal of entry, but I realized that I failed to mention this in the application and I wish to correct it."

Along with every bit of info I could give them about my husband and I to identify us. I received this email from Mississauga today:

"Dear Client,

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

We have received your supporting documents and have attached them to your application.

If further information is needed, the responsible office may contact you.

Please visit the online Help Centre or our website for further information. You can search by typing keywords"

I didn't even submit a case specific enquiry! I just tracked down the email for Mississauga. This is such a relief. I think early April applicants should be expecting SA soon!

Hi everyone!

I am 12th May applicant. Received my AOR1 two days back.

What m worried about. I have send old IMM1344 form instead of updated one.
What I can expect something from CIC regarding this.

Hoping they wont send entire package back.

Fingers Crossed!

You mean 12th april?

Also youre posting this message everywhere. Noone is going to help you if you spam the thread.

Weve also answered this wuestion many times - you wont hear anything until you hear anything. Each case is different. Also as you submitted early it ahould be fine.

Haha, well, I hope so. There are still a fair amount of people who haven't been so lucky with speedy DMs. I hope the rest of the VOs speed up too. I'm just extremely surprised that the CPC-M even responded to my email without a case specific enquiry and also put forth the effort to add a note in with my application. After having waited 4 months to get my FBI background check from the US... I'm ready for some speedy movements.

I filled out all my IMM forms back in October. Didn't mail the application til March, not realizing the forms had been updated. I was never contacted about sending in updated ones and received DM today. If it's already sent, I wouldn't worry. But if you haven't shipped it yet then definitely double check that you have the correct forms.

Yeah! I had to double check. I mailed the docs on 12 April and was filled in March when IMM has been updated.

I am planning to fill up the forms and checked the doc checklists and found that IMM 5443, IMM5287 and IMM 5491 are the document checklists for the Sponsorship Application. There are different specifications and forms in different Checklists. So, I am confused. Plz kindly let me know which checklist should be included in the Application.

Thank you.

AOR1 received! Yeah!!!!

Everything you need will be in the outland application package: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp There are three guides. There is the first guide listed, the guide for the applicant, and the country specific guide. The application package will contain all the checklists you may need. There are detailed instructions on how to fill out the forms and what checklists to use in these guides and within the package itself.

AOR1 received! Yeah!!!!
Nice! Congratulations! It feels good to have something official saying that your application has been received and won't be returned, doesn't it? :D

Just an observation. I originally sent my application in March but miscalculated the $. Really stupid error. The application came back to me with a UCI number in two weeks from delivery by courier. My theory is that they actually look fairly soon after it gets there and it is only later that they move it into the process line. You would laugh if you saw how they take apart all of our fancy organizing. Stacked top to bottom in the order they want not ours. no tabs, left etc. Anyone who had a table of contents or numbered etc would be heartbroken.

Returned with a UCI number? Don't know they actually allocate a UCI number when they will return the package.

Happy for your AOR1 delivered this time.
